“Me do it” isn’t a twin thing in our home.

I just got in my email box my weekly little update on my twins age from babycenter, and while I find these weekly updates great for quick information and some play ideas it does interest me when I see a huge gap from what they say and what I see happen. This week they said that my child (children) would

Pushing the dog

Random moment that I had to share. Little lady wanted our dog to go into her playhouse, so she decides to push the dog. Cute, silly, adorable little lady I love you so.

Headband cuteness

She won’t wear them for long, and I gave up that battle awhile ago, but she sure is adorable when she lets me keep the headband on for long enough to snap a picture. Apparently with headbands you have to put them on them when they are very little and have them live in them in order for them to

Finishing the sentence in books

So impressed with my 19month old twins! They can finish the sentence when I read to them! It’s so cute too; they get so very excited when they know the word and they just shout it out! Of course I’m an excited Mama so it just boosts their excitement too. We we’re reading one of their favorite books with Elmo,

Word of the day: hugs

Little mans word today had been “hugs”. It’s taken me a few times to understand what he’s saying but then he goes and hugs whatever it is and it makes sense. Today he’s hugged his sister, me, Monty the dog, stuffed puppy and baby Stella. Too cute!

any little thing and she’s “dirty”

It’s all kinds of adorable, my little ladies latest obsession is “diiirrrrtty”. It almost sounds like “daddy” and she has to work so hard to make it sound right that the “t” is extra strong. Her face also crunches up in the cutest lil face. She does this at home when she’s not wearing socks. A great reminder that I

Signing “grandpa” at 17 months

We were watching our Signing Times DVD today. Signing Time Volume 2: Playtime Signs DVD and on this disk they teach the signs for “Grandma” and “Grandpa”. My lil lady is teething today, so she’s extra cuddly and as we were watching together she is doing the signs. Some she does, and some she doesn’t. I haven’t seen her sign

Starting Pull-Ups at 17 months

We did it. We ordered our 1st box of Pull-Up’s. Yes. Little man has decided that he love to be diaper free. Mommy has decided she is done fighting him to keep the tabs on his diaper on. Thus we are going to try out Pull-ups. I feel that 17 months is a little early to be starting pull-ups but

Toddler biting while eating from twin

At a fancier place for dinner on Mother’s day and lil lady does the sweetest thing: She feeds her brother her food using her fingers! So very sweet right? Heart melting? Oh yeah, we even had people around us looking because I mean really, it’s just so sweet. Until…. Lil man decides to bite! (insert Jaws theme song here) Hard!
