I had some mommytime today! Always a YAY event right? Yes, well I was totes excited because I got to visit and see the most amazing hairstylist I have ever, and I do mean EVER had the pleasure of coming across.
You know how some people have a certain thing about them that just makes you like them? Or rather, every time you see them they make you in a better mood? Even when you can tell its not the best day for them? Yes, this amazing lady is that to me. Every time I see her, she cheers me in a way that makes me leaving her looking so forward to next time. You can also tell when someone is genuinely sincere or if they are just being nice because you pay them to be. This is not her she has an abundance of love for life and those that she has in it.
This is my Miranda Nicole at Montgomery Beauty Salon in Dublin, CA. All of this and I have yet to discuss her talent. Let me count the ways: Always listens to what I want and ASKS questions about what I am: looking for, wear my hair, want to wear my hair, time to put into my hair, products to use, styling tools, analyze pictures I’ve brought in, etc. Then she proceeds to offer one amazing scalp and neck massage while you get your hair washed. When it come times to cut, she has mad mad skills. And she gets to know your hair and what you like very quickly. I’ve gone to her for a few years so of course she knows my preference in my hair, but she started knowing immediately! I have curly crazy hair and a lot of it, and she just knows that I want less hair and less hair to have to manage and style. I don’t think I can trust another person with these shears that take out chunks and chunks of hair but her.
I have never left her chair without a fabulous cut and style. She also has amazing color skills too. Every time she has colored my hair it has been great color that I would get compliments on everywhere.
Sadly, I moved kinda far from her before the twins were born, so it was and has been difficult for me to see her. I did a big “NO NO” and went to someone else mid-year, but other than that it has been a year since I had seen her (Yes, that means that in a 12 month span of time I had 2 haircuts, sad but that is the life of a new mom of twins). So you can understand how much I have hated my hair for a very long time. Well NO MORE! I drove the hour to go see her today, had my fab haircut, and now I have amazing hair again. Shameless plug for my wonderful lady who deserves a million credits and words for her talent with hair style, but she’s apart of my life and my mommytime today so thus she gets all the credit I can offer her for great hairdays ahead!
