Trains and twins being very quiet

After breakfast there is this time frame in which I have to get the twins dressed and ready for the day, make myself ready for the day and also clean up after breakfast. Sounds not so bad, but when you are talking about cleaning the kitchen of breakfast mess, 2 highchairs of disaster breakfast mess, the floor from spilled/dropped/thrown breakfast,

Twin toddler activity: shredded paper sensory box

The weather isn’t so great today and since they are still recovering from a cold I don’t really want to go outside with them, so time for an indoor activity that helps them explore! I’ve done sensory boxes with lots of random food and water. It happens to be trash day today so I had the random idea that they

Eating jello

My bugs hadn’t really had any jello, except for maybe a bite when we went out to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch one day. So this was their first experience with the jiggly food. Lil man giggled at it. Lil lady said “cold” and didn’t want to touch it. A word to the wise… Jello stains the skin… so now they

Getting the hang of animal lace and trace activity!

I have read in so many places that toddlers love these lace and trace animals (or any images). It’s the whole shoe lace in the whole activity that is very engaging for them, while really working those fine motor skills hard! My bugs have been too little and lack the fine motor skills for this activity, but I bring them

Quercetti Toddler Peg Board Game

I picked this toy up at a teacher’s learning store. The box says for 18 months, but I’ve brought it out randomly for the past few months. Today being on of those random days. What do you know? They can start to actually figure it out! Both of them were able to grab the correct color (with my urging) and

Adding flaxseed to toddlers lunch

Do you know how important it is to make sure your growing toddler gets all the nutrients they need? Of course you do. If you are anything like me you are reading and researching what foods they should be eating and how to help them have a balanced diet to include all the things they need to be healthy, grow

Fifty Shades of Grey gaining popularity

I saw a post on Babycenter regarding the book ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ by E.L. James. http://blogs.babycenter.com/mom_stories/i-have-a-fifty-shades-of-grey-hangover/ I’m a big fan of this trilogy, but I’ve been a fan before it was even published in book form. I was one of the many people who read this book when it was a twilight fanfiction. Yes, I’ve also followed the author

Laughing in the car and doing errands.

We are all finally feeling better! Hip, Hip, HOORAY! Today is the 1st time in awhile that i’ve taken the bugs out of house for something other then a Dr’s appt alone in probably over 2 weeks. They were so great today. Usually it’s so stressful to take them both out to the store. This happened once they figured out

Eating out with 16month old twins

Wanted to put in a quick little plug and ask for your vote! Being a Mom of multiples definitely comes with unique struggles and I’m so excited that I have this blog as an outlet for sharing some of my lessons, ideas and overall randomness! Thank you for reading and all those who pop in and take a peak too!

Wearing mommys flip flops

Little lady decided to try on my flip-flops, and then proceeded to walk in them. So cute how she would half wobble and half stomp in order to actually move with them. Nothing beats moments like that when you turn around and catch them trying to do something they see you doing. Such a special memory captured in a picture.
